Alex just discovered "Sanford and Son". We're watching it on TVLand right now. He's laughing so hard he can hardly breathe. He likes Aunt Esther (LaWanda Page).

Actually Sanford and Son is based on the British comedy "Steptoe and Son" which is why I find it strange my British boyfriend from London finds this show so funny.   The British consider Sanford and Son a rip off, and I agree with them. But my boyfriend (for some strange reason) finds this show very funny.

I never did like this show very much. What do you think?

Hi Janice and Shasta!! I'm here!!

Yes Janice I heard about that awful weather ya'll are having out there on the West coast. Terrible. I suppose it will be heading in my direction before long. It's been VERY cold here. And now they tell us this weekend will be up in the 60's, which sometimes happens around here; it's cold for a few days, and then it's warm. Back and forth all winter. Life in the Midwest. Sheesh.

The captive cat  diary is wonderful.   and david, last time I fell down the stairs it was a few days after I yelled at my wife for not turning the lights on while the house is a shambles, cause she could kill herself. I cracked my ass, going down the unlit steps, slipping on thier slippery unrugged surface cause the house is a shambles lol.
