yeah, I suspect at least short term she is gonna want a lot of your time and energy...will she pay rent? you could stick that back or pay off the house a bit quicker.

Will you set a specific length of time she can stay or is it open ended?

1- She's already offered to pay rent - when I told her I arranged to be finished paying my house off within a year.

2- House needs repairs - she staying downstairs, I'm gonna have ta do some improvements - starting with replacing both upstairs & down stairs toilets. I'm sure Bryan would be able to point out all the improvements that should be done down there (plastering, replacng the appliances, improving the heating vents, ...)

3- Her stay would be open ended - to start with.

And what's new on the birthday boy front? - been reading about the pecan caper and related stories in the store ...

Maybe Bryan could HELP with all those improvements too... ;)

that would make it a little more fun. It is gonna be different for you. Hope it won't be stressful (or too stressful I guess it can't help but be a bit)

Happy Sunday!!
It's finally cooling off here.
It's gonna be a good day for riding and playing on the farm!

Bonjour Jess

I got me more time this morning - It'll take me an hour to get to the location of the 'in-service' today, but it starts a full hour later that school normally does. The downside, it'll end later as well and I'll still be an hour's public transit ride from home when it over - and that, during rush hour!  :(

Mima' spent her second night here last night, though she spend the day on the golf course. Bryan was here for 7 hours yesterday, getting the back yard (mostly) ready for winter.

Temperatures yesterday shattered the 35 year old record high for the day - reaching 26C (79F). The old record was 24C (75F)
They're saying the temperatures will be just as high today, but tomorrow we'll be back to colder temperatures ... 11C (52F)

BTW, I've been up since around 4:30  ;D
