Sounds to me my assessment was pretty accurate.

Why would he want his mama to help him with registration?

When I went to university in 1971, my parents did drive me down to Ottawa (an 8 hour drive from Timmins), but I don't think they stayed 24 hours. Set me up in residence and that's about it. Registration was done without em. It's just the way when you're in your late teens...

A couple a meetings and setting up my schedule for the upcoming year. All other teachers have to wait to receive mine before they can make theirs.
