Do you live in Ontario, Sheriff? I've been to the Rock a couple of times, love it there.

Why don't the neighbors ever bring US dinner? That's what I want to know!

Yup - Lived here all my life.

And Newfoundland and Labrador is the only province I've never visited ...

Neighbour said I REALLY should go - Her mother makes the best soup and her sister's bread is so good, it'd be worth spending the 30# to have it shipped!! (now you KNOW she's crazy fer saying this, right?)

Anyways . I'm sure appreciatin the free meal, right now!  ;D

Maybe cause ya just go out there and steal their watermelons?

Or maybe cause they don't care for your flower garden like mine feels about mine?

Or maybe cause they're not Newfies? (a very friendly buncha people)

Maybe it's mainly cause a door #3

I'm missing the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. If I can get back to Alaska sometime, I'd love to take the road north from Edmonton to Yellowknife, tour around, then loop around back to the Alaska Highway at near Fort Nelson. Wonderful area. The road was unpaved the first time I went in the mid-70's, but a little over ten years ago it was paved except for construction areas. It was nice to be able to appreciate the scenery a bit more and not concentrate on avoiding potholes in the road!

Ain't been to any a the territories ,,, don't count em cause they're not provinces.

What's your favourite province there Fitz? Mine's Québec. And of the 20 or so States I've been to, I guess it's a toss up between Utah and Minnesota

if I were ever to do a cruise I would want to go up into Alaska...the water looks so blue and the glaciers are just amazing!

I do love to visit Québec indeed, especially to get the opportunity to speak a bit of French. But for scenery, I'm quite partial to Alberta, which was why I was especially happy to visit there this summer. As far as the states go, I find there are wonderful things to see and do everywhere, though if I ever won the lottery big and could retire anywhere I wanted to, I'd be most partial to northern New Mexico. I love that area, ever since I first went there back in Army days in the early 70's.
