First thing you said to the people who were with you, at the end of BBM

Lumière:
Like some of you folks, I mostly saw it alone.  Strangely enough, that was the best way I liked to see it...was like a personal experience for me.  I went few times with some friends, was great, but nothing like watching it by myself...sitting through the credits, listening to Willie and Rufus break my heart all over again... :'(

There was an older gentleman who showed up on a few of my repeat viewings, he always sat in the same seat, had the same sad look on his face and sat there quietly when everyone was leaving the theatre at the end.  I think we silently 'recognised' each other from all our previous repeat viewings.  I could swear that he had a Jack and Ennis story of his own.  I was interested in striking up a conversation with him one time, but he always looked tense and abit nervous, so I just let him be (didn't wanna freak him out..lol)...haven't forgotten that dude, and I don't even know him.   :-\

Ah, David, this is what I wish my woman friend had said to me at the end of our viewing together...

--- Quote from: Ray on April 19, 2006, 08:00:09 am ---I have only watched the film once with one other person and that was Sheyne and we didn't need to say anything.  We just curled our bottom lips and blinked at each other through red eyes all Alice Faye like and picked up the gold fish and waited for Pierre Tremblay to roll along the credits and we left.  Then we said in unison, "God I need a pee!"

--- End quote ---

Haha. Ray, you and Sheyne might replace Elle and Henrypie as my favorite Chez Tremblay duo. You guys are a riot! (Just kidding, Ellepie, you two are still #1 but Rayne is a close second.)

DeeDee:
Saw it alone in NYC.  Drove home in silence. My husband asked me how it was and all I could mutter is "wow."  Cried in bed that night and went again when I got home to Maryland.

slayers_creek_oth:
There was a lot of silence after we saw it......I saw it with my mom and wife...

I think we were all pretty speechless and torn apart inside....there weren't many words spoken that night...
