For me, christeing has become what we call somewhat Brokie-ish in another thread. Like red velvet cake, things with no direct connection to BBM, but to other Brokies.

Yes, I've read and enjoyed Taming Groomzilla. Leslie is also co-author of another book "Hidden Conflict", which holds four stories by different authors about men in love during war-times, set in various historic conflicts.
And I have to admit I'm very proud she dedicated her story to me. :)

I do remember Juan (Partytime) trying to scare me on the porch of the cabin Henry and I shared on that road trip, but really?  c'mon......Juan just wasn't scary.

I'm used to people trying to play jokes like that on me.....I remember years ago going on a camping trip, it was pitch dark out and two of the guys up and left, and after about 20 minutes or so, a 3rd guy (John) came to me and said:  "Hey Chuck, I'm worried about Steve and Bill.....I think we should go look for them."  I just looked at John and said "How dumb do you think I am?"

Turns out Bill & Steve had covered their faces with glow-in-the-dark make-up and were crouching on the ground, waiting for me to see these two floating faces looking up from the ground.
