Thank you, Louise, but the repair work of the cables is not completed so the access is still quite unstable, it took ages to load just one page.  I have read the new chapters, they are great, can't wait for the follow-up but you take it easy, finish your moving, unpacking and settle down first.  I'm sure we can wait for the updates until you're all settled.

wow, Betty, i didn't know this was one of the consequences of the earthquake. Hope everything will be back to normal soon.

And yes, Louise, i really loved the three chapters of the new story you've already posted despite your hectic schedule. So take it easy and try to get some rest too. We'll be here when you resurface!  :)  :)

My move is going slower than expected, but during my rest periods I am writing!

Milli is in California visiting family. I don't know about Siouxi, though.

I'm sure Jeremy will win over the Sampsons affection once they get to know him.   He is handsome, masculine and polite.  And more importantly, they'll see how happy their son Nicholas is with him.

And how happy Jeremy is with Nick. Up til now, we have know very little about Jeremy's life. It seems to be coming out that he hasn't had the easiest go of it, family and friends-wise. It is nice for him to have someone who loves him, and he can love back.

Good points, David.  Especially about Nick being happy.

Yes, except for Ennis and Ellery and work-related friends, we haven't really heard of any of Jeremy's college friends - I had always thought that that might have been  due to his busy schedule, but now, as you've said, it does seem to be coming out that there is much more of a story there.  Jeremy understandably is reluctant to discuss it - but, I do hope we find out a little more.

Thanks for the thoughts - Marie
