I entered the Oscar prediction pool at work, and "best song" was the only category in which I was completely certain of my answer. If "Shallow" doesn't win, I'll look like Jack Nicholson did when he opened the "best picture" envelope in 2006.

I don't even know what the other songs are. I just know that one is certain to win.

Yes, it's great. It could just be the whole movie, as far as I'm concerned. I always tear up when Gaga hits the high notes with "I'm on the deep end ..."

It may be the year of 2019, but if you look at the Billboard Top 200 chart for next week, you may think it's the 80s when you see the artists at #1 and #2.




It's Madonna's 9th #1 album/CD, and her 22nd Top 10 album/CD.

It's Bruce's 18th Top 10 album/CD.


On top of that, Madonna's current single ("Medellin", a duet with Colombian rapper Maluma) is the #1 single on the Dance Single Chart, her 47th #1 song on that chart.
