Yes, I see it is now almost 10pm Friday in New York. Have you slept through the whole day recovering?

Hiya everyone!

It was a bit crazy lately on my end.

Madonna concert was GREAT!  She kicked butt and gave us a solid 2 hours of singing and dancing.

Show ended at 12:15 and I was home and in bed by 2:30.

I took today off work so I would be able to sleep.....so imagine my surprise when I had mom wake up up at 5:30.

Her crazy-as-shit friend (Betty) woke up unable to get out of bed due to vertigo.  Same thing happened yesterday.  So instead of calling her son, she called my parents, who both have to work today, so they got dressed and went to Betty's.  I had to get up because mom doesn't drive, and dad needed to be at work by 6:30, so if mom needed a ride home, I had to go get her and take her to work.

Aside from  being crazy, she's also stingy, so Betty told my mom that instead of calling a taxi, she may call me for a ride home, so now I thought I wouldn't even be able to go back to sleep because this woman may be calling me for a ride back home.

I did manage a two hour cat-nap, and then I went to where I work.  One of the women I work with is transferring to a new location, and today was her "good-bye" luncheon.  We ended up staying 6 hours, so I didn't get home until 8:00.  LOL

At that point I still hadn't written my review.

Just posted a review of the MDNA show.  If you want to read it, click the link below, it's posted in the "music music music" section of my blog.

Aw, Chuck, there's no rest for the weary, as they say.  Sorry you couldn't loll in bed after your big night.  Hope Betty is back up to speed soon.  :(

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Yeah!  Madonna kicked ass!    ;D

Geez, it feels like forever since I've been to Bettermost!  It's good to be back!

In my cube looking at all the emails that accumulated in just one day's time away!  LOL  Really?  Am I this important?

Weekend was good, lunch with coworkers on Friday (I went even though I was off work that day) and the dinner with friends on Saturday.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Hiya BetterMost friends.

11 years already.  I wish I had something profound to say, but I don't.  My thoughts are with everyone who lost loved ones today, and I wish I could give you all a hug.

Slept well last night....I had a odd dream that my brother was dating a hoarder.   :o

Bowling tonight, let's go strikes!

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Yup, it's Wednesday!  ;D

Today we're going out to an Italian place for lunch.  One of our co-workers has opted to retire, and Friday is his last day.  I believe he wanted to leave a while ago, and when the layoffs happened he was hoping for a package.  That didn't happen, so he stuck it out until now.

Work has been on the busy side as of late, which is why I haven't been here as much as usual.  Yesterday was a rough day, just a lot to do in limited time, so I'm hoping today is better.

Bowling update in my "Striking Out" section of the blog.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Good morning, and happy Thursday.

Here's hoping it's a peaceful Thursday.  The candle is lit for all those who were hurt or killed in the attacks on American Embassies in the Middle East since the news of that dumb movie hit.

There is a "trailer" of the movie (Innocence of Muslims) on You Tube, what a piece of crap!  Badly shot, badly acted, badly produced, and (in my opinion) made for the sole purpose to insult Muslims.

The actors in the film are now coming forward saying the script was re-written and the lines about Islam and Muhammad were added/dubbed in, that they were not in the script.  You can tell by watching the film that the lines are dubbed in and it's just soooo bad.

And now that Reverand who wanted to have a Koran burning in Florida is now in on the act somehow as well.

::)

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Casual Friday isn't really a big deal for me, I don't have to be in business attire anyway, I always tend to have a casual look.

Glad the weekend is upon us, I want to catch up on sleep.

Found some lottery scratch-off tickets that I forgot I had, so I played them last night and won $33.00.  ;D  I have a few others I've already won on, so my total winnings is $51.00.

I'll be stopping at the store today after the gym to trade them in for new tickets.

;D
