Board's quiet today...guess we're all out celebrating at PrideFests. I'm just about to head out to join friend LauraGigs at the Denver PrideFest! I tried to talk Ennis into driving The Truck in the parade but he would have none of it...I'll keep working on  him...maybe next year!!

Last Sunday, we were on a medieval event at a castle near us. The kids (and we!) had much fun, I liked the costumes, and the music. Here are some impressions:

The music was great. Had a rock sound to it, despite the instruments. And the musicians were even better to look at :D. Boy, all this martial and ethnic outfit sure has something meaty to it!





The drinks were served in earthen cups. My daughter bought a drinking horn. But she doesn't like the thought of drinking from it, considering it is a real horn from a real cow :laugh:. She just bought it as a souvenir.

Hubby tried Met. OMG, what a horrible, horrible brew :P. I almost spit ot out. Bah!
The kids and I had "Knappenpunsch" (knave's punch), which I also didn't like. Tasted like a mixture of camomile tea and apple juice. The kids liked it though.
