I'm looking forward to delving into the article about Duchamp later today.

I did enjoy Lauren Collins' article. Who knew there were so many messages put in bottles and tossed into the sea?

I think the woman in the Tiffany ad (  ::)  ) on the reverse of the front cover of the May 11 & 18 issue could be Natalie Portman. I don't see a credit in the ad, nor have I been able to find that exact picture, but I think the woman in the ad looks a lot like the picture of Portman in the Wikipedia article about her.

Anybody?

(I've never seen "Black Swan.")

Yes, it's her.

The Duchamp article began rather slow and dull but finished strong and was only four pages. I'm deliglhted that it's going to Philadelphia next in October. I'd like to see it.

Yes, it's her.

Thanks. I'm curious: how did you find her?

No offense, but that?s kind of a surprising question. The number of pictures of Natalie Portman on the internet must number well into the five figures. And according to Google she?s been in 55 movies. Why do you think she?d be hard to find? Or did I misunderstand your question?

Why do apostrophes sometimes work and other times show as question marks?

Today I read in the latest issue about Peter Hessler's coming of age in the Midwestern town of Columbia, Missouri. It reads much like my own experience in Wichita, Kansas. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2026/06/08/the-paperboys-secret

I meant finding the particular photo that was in the ad. I'm sure that, typically, I wasn't clear in what I was asking. I did a Google search for pictures ("images") of her, and Lord know how many turned up. I believe there are ways to search for a particular image of somebody, but that's beyond my technical knowledge. I wasn't able to search for the photo in the ad, and there were way too many to "eyeball." The closest I came to the photo that was in the ad was the photo that accompanied the Wikipedia article about her.

I don't know.

I see them in your posts. I never see them in my own posts when I write them or post them.

Do you ever see them in my posts?
