Which Starship Captain Are You?

Is there a "John Luck... Pickard" here?
13% Benjamin_Sisko, 6% Kathryn_Janeway, 39% Jean-Luc_Picard, 24% Johnathan_Archer, 17% William_Adama and 21% James_T_Kirk!

The fans of Star Trek with more than half a brain will always vote this guy as the better of the two. In the classic "Kirk vs Picard" argument, Picard should always win because he was simply the better man. The only thing Kirk could do was fight. Picard could fight, negotiate, verbally castrate, be assimilated and not have it dominate his character afterwards, and all this with such eloquence and grace. One of the more ironic characters, in that he was French with a British accent, he would speak and people would shut up and listen. He was never one to be fooled, either, and is probably the only captain here who could competently challenge Data to a philosphical debate.

I prefer Picard over Kirk, as Picard is closer to my ideal of a thougtful intelligent well educated captain.

I also liked the way the Archer character evolved on Enterprise, esp after the 3rd season.

Janeway was a total loss, and should frankly Chakotay should have mutineed against her in the first episode.

I liked Sisko, until the "emmissary" nonsense went to his head.

Benjamin Sisko was the Captain at the space station in the series Deep Space Nine.  He was played by Avery Brooks, pictured below:

Thanks Lynne for the info.  He looks nice enough and I confess I never watched Deep Space Nine.  May have to see about that now. :) :)
