COLLECTOR'S EDITION DVD Release

I have already mentioned to husband that the Collectors' DVD is coming out on Jan 23rd.  Let's hope he gets the hint.
 
I know I will be buying one for a friend in China.   Just chat with her over one hour on MSN about BBM.  I have recommended the movie to her the beginning of this year, but she just saw it two days ago.  Already twice for her.  She mentioned that she has asked some of the girls in her office to watch the movie with her this weekend.  Nothing beats talking about BBM with a person who just saw the movie and desperately needs someone to talk about how the movie has shaken her to the core.  It gave me the goose bumps all over again.  Since she loves the movie, she should watch the movie in its original format, not some pirated version with misleading subtitles.

That's what I was thinking this morning.  Between Eric's announcement of the DVDs and Front-Ranger's letting us know that Annie Proulx says we are not overanalyzing, it's a fine week in Brokiedom.

All Europeans and Australians are warmly invited to Seattle to view the 2 disc set in its entirety on January 24th, 2006.  We have one guest bed, two couches, floor space for sleeping bags, and a back yard for puptents.

oh, Elle, that's so nice!  If only...

guess we'll just have to wait again, just like we had to wait untill February 22nd to see the movie in the cinema here in Belgium and then wait till September 28th for the dvd to be released...

Hey Euros and Australians: same here.  Our sunny Colorado casa has a full guest bath, nice yard and a big-screen TV & nice speakers for Mountain viewing.  And we can drive you around the lovely, similar terrain we have here or in nearby Wyoming. 

(And maybe later you can host us or at least give us pointers when we visit your cool country . . .)

nope. not gonna do it. i'm a purist when it comes to this. what ever the director puts out at the release is the original film. everything else is just a ploy to make more money.







just kidding. I'll at least Netflix it, if I don't buy it.
