Thanks, Louise!  Wow, 64 characters so far and you're only up to "Looking for Answers"!!!

Oh my.

I feel a reread coming on. Nope, no use trying to resist it.  :)

I really should think about getting an e-reader, my nightstand is already stuffed full with the paper version of the-then-Laramie-books. Of course I could ask my husband if I could borrow his nightstand to put the Tourmaline books in. Who knows what he might say!  :)

yes, which is why I had to go back and do a full edit-mode reread.  It took me 9 days to go through the first two books.  The other thing I'm looking for is dialect slippage as well, because I don't want to end up having to explain why suddenly Mel Ruskin is talking like Wes when he shouldn't be, or -- well you get the idea.  I'd call it a "longitudinal edit" which is one of the beauties of not having these things in print as yet - I can remove inconsistencies and complications and just plain embarrassing things like changing the age at which Ellery's father died and which cancer he died from and other such things that readers make so much hay about once something is in print when it really means almost nothing except that I couldn't remember.
“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”
