My Connections was a disaster today. I could tell what two of the categories were, but apparently I never got exactly the right combination. Also, it used to say "one away" if you were one away. Now it doesn't seem to be doing that. Without a "one away," which four of my guesses were, I figured I must be two or more away and on the wrong track.

I thought the bot would heap scorn upon me for guessing TILED, a word containing a letter that had already been eliminated. But no! It complimented me. Apparently TILED cut the number of possible words from 138 to one, and I guessed the one. I'm a genius!

Yes! I've apparently gotten 17 scores of 2/6, according to my stats on the site (though that seems high!). I've never bought a lottery ticket afterward. Think of all the millions of dollars I might have missed out on!
