Well, since I bombed at Connections and Wordle was also not very good, I decided to play Merriam-Webster's Blossom. It is visually more attractive and has nice sound effects, too.

Another example of it being surprisingly valuable to just guess a word you know is wrong to get yourself out of a rut -- and (bonus!) learning the fifth letter.

This makes me more suspicious of collusion between NYT games, though. Wasn't KNEAD a recent word on Connections? (For words that have silent Ks.)
