I was helped by having heard of the Radiolab podcast. I can't think of what else RADIOLAB would mean, and whenever there's a word with only one meaning it's a pretty useful clue. My only misstep was trying to include REPLY ALL, which is also the name of a podcast (which I discovered thanks to Google).

Yes, but I stumbled on FRESH AIR which is also a pretty famous podcast, but here it was part of "Doctor's Orders".

A purple-first day! I briefly stumbled putting AXE in with weapons, but since there are limited meanings to AXE (maybe also "fire") that pointed me to the other purples.

Which makes me think of a potential good one: AXE, FIRE, CUT, SACK. All of these words have double meanings (besides the one that connects them), which you could use to throw people off with words like FLAME TRIM BAG. Which in turn could be confused with INSULT, DECORATION, PURSE. And so on! Hire me, NYT!
