well we DID have to wait for the swelled heads to go down before we could get in the car....

 

those are MY boys right there!

I knew Jeff was hustling for scholarships but lort! He cleaned up! all those little ones add up...came in third in the class...very proud of him.

D was eleventh, still in the top ten percent..

The swelled heads were mor'n just the boys I bet. So taday was a memory makin day, as I'd hoped this mornin!

I was afraid that he would be disappointed to not make valedictorian (came down to less than ten points seperating the top three!) but he says he is relieved he doesn't have to make a speech!

D got an award for his 4H and FFA activities and a $500 scholarship.

I was very proud...DON on the other hand is strutting...

You would think he birthed them both all by hisself!

Well you can be sure there are gonna be a bunch of us cyber parents who are also reeaaaaal proud a those two boys

I have an idea as to what the 4H is (somethin ta do with raisin animals or some farmin thing) but I haven't a clue what the FFA is.

You mentioned the 500$ scholarship fer D - but your keeping me waiting on Jeff's many awards and scholarship ...

so anyway!! Jeff has been hustling those scholarships. I think he has the first year paid for and then some! I was impressed.

He also got an award for math. And for the FFA activities.

FFA = Future Farmers of America.

4H is not really associated with school but they do announce them; so many of the kids here are in it too.
