G'mornin BetterMostians

Tuesday and the living is easy it's gonna be a tough one! Kids are gonna be grumpy cause they have to be there and there ain't gonna be much ta do - except sweat a lot! Temperatures are gonna reach 35*C (95*F) and that's ouside. Schools are not air conditioned and you can easily add another 5*C indoors - especially on the second floor. (alright, that's my 'bitch, bitch, bitch' for today - this too shall pass)

2 days to go - plus one for cleaning up.

Gonna need Andy today fer sure!

Hope y'all have a wonderful Tuesday! (to make up fer mine)

Good mornin Jess - You working today?

I've got a dental appointment after school today. Will be gettting home later than usual (maybe around 6)

Got some new plants happening in the garden. Some faux 'black-eyed susans', some Sunflowers, another daylilly (or was it a lilly - can't remember), and the double bloom annual poppie's showing yet another bloom (maybe I'll get a good picture of this one). Hell even the italian parsley's showing flowers!

Good Mornin Everyone

Still hot hot hot here too. only 32*C predicted though, and a good possibility of rain to cool us down. Tomorrow (when the kids will no longer be in this oven that is our school), the temperatures are suppose to become much more reasonable (25*C).

In the meantime, this is my last 'last day of school' what with retirement coming in 7 month!

Andy dear Andy is still here to keep you comp'ny, and to serve you yer refreshments.

good morning..did you get any sleep at all?

Slept well fer about 3 hours last night, and again, got ta rest my brain fer about 90 minutes this mornin.

Not the best recipe for being prepared for the last (hot, hot, hot) day of school, but apparently I wasn't the only teacher that slept poorly last night.

10 minutes to go, and the kids'll be gone - Still got the bus supervision (usually alone on Wednesday) but end a year in the past, most teachers go out to the busses with their students! - so should be awright.

Gotta go!

Yup - said my goodbyes and all. Got lotsa cleaning up to do today. Meeting this mornin don't start till near 9:00 but I expect I'll be getting in at the same time as usual to do some cleanning up of the equipment room which is also my office (there's quite a paper mess there.)

When I got out to my end-of-day bus supervision, another teacher was emptying water from a bottle of one of his kids (ounce a prevention, ya know).

Of course, when I went to take by bus a little later, the neighbouring school's kids (slightly older than ours) were not only wet all over from their throwing water at each other, but they were hitting each other with emply plastic bottles. Kids !! - miss em? - certainly not yet!

34*C temperatures and end of school year tends to turn em inta little monsters!
