Is it just me or does Austin Nichols deliver a REALLY bad performance in TDAT?  Maybe its just me.....

Yeah, it wasn't exactly Oscar worthy. But, he was a limited character with crap dialogue - I forgive him. Plus, that will forever be a classic line to me, even if it's only for how terrible it was.

Austin delivers a bad performance on The Day After Tomorrow, pretty bad actually. I didn't like him at all.

Oddly enough I loved Bubble Boy. After BbM and Donnie Darko, it's my favorite Jake vehicle-tough he was pretty fine in Jarhead....Jar F**king Head.

  the only reason I watched TDAT was because of Jake and Emmy (she had just finished it and then went right into Phantom of the Opera) - the special effects were good, but the story line sucked..............

I'm with you though, I love The Day After Tomorrow, cheesy and overdramatic though it may be, it's a good action flick and Jake Gyllenhaal is in it... and let's face it, all action movies are cheesy and overdramatic, I always expect that going into them
