What's in the treat bags?

Hiya Sonja!

Each bag (the size of a plastic bag to seal a sandwich in) has a box of conversation hearts.

and then some traditional fun sized bars in a valentine colored wrapper (pink, red).

and then some heart-shaped chocolates.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

I love that you do all these nice things for holidays and other occasions!

When I was a kid, my mother used to make a cake for Valentine's Day. She would use one square cake pan and one round pan. She would turn the square cake on a point, and then she would cut the round cake in half and use the halves to make the cake heart-shaped.  :)

Very smart!   I would never have thought of that!

I made my own Super Friends valentines on the computer, and printed them out at work, and laminated them so they'd be more durable.

I'll leave them at everyone's stations Tuesday evening, with the treat bags I put together.

I'm telling you, I want a job there. Nobody at either of my jobs does stuff like that. They might leave people individualized cards if they leave the company. They might bring a box of donuts or homemade baked goods or chocolates.

But individual cards and treat bags? That I have never seen!  :o :D

truth be told, I'm sure I'm the only one who does this, but it's fun, and people seem to enjoy them.

:)

Of course they do! And they're probably very grateful to have you as a coworker.  :D

Same here.

A present and a card when people leave, or have a big birthday is normal. We all chip in for that, and someone organises it.

And occasionally someone will bring something homebaked.  or treat everyone to a big breakfast spread, usually as a thank you for the present to the birthday or leaving.

That's it. I've never seen individual cards or treats at any of my workplaces ever.
