Bright sunny day here in NJ.  Pretty chilly though.   

Did some cleaning around the apartment, and packed up my laundry to get done.   


I planned on using my tax refund for paying my car insurance and renter's insurance for the year.  There would still be some left over for me, to sock away into my savings account.

Well, my two insurance bills arrived on Friday.  Just by chance, the refund credited my checking account on the same day.  ;D

Cloudy day here, waiting for another Nor'easter to hit the East coast.  We may get about 4 more inches of snow.

Worked from home again today,  the new utility pole is up, but the power wires were not attached to the office building yet, so as far as I know, the building still has no power.  I'm monitoring my email and phone for messages/updates on the situation.

Guess I'll update tomorrow on what the work situation is.

The power was back on in my office building, so I went back to work today.   It was good to get out of the apartment, and to see everyone again!

Happy hump day and Pi day to you all!

Work went well, and I was able to file everything I needed to file.   The office is back to a normal temperature after all the time with no power, so instead of a sweater I can go back to shirt and tie again.

Heard today that it's possible another Nor'easter may hit next week.   It's the winter that never ends!

Not too bad here. Still plenty of snow/ice on the ground. But I wore my down-filled puffy coat and the temp went up to about 50, so I hardly even needed a jacket. Maybe you need to move to tropical Minnesota!  :laugh:
