When I first got hired at the bank as a teller, it was August.  When November came around, everyone was talking about how they wished the bank closed Friday as well as Thursday, so there would be a 4 day weekend.  I just started laughing.

When they asked what I was laughing about, I explained I had spent 10 years in the retail world, and worked Thanksgiving each year, so to finally have Thanksgiving off, I was more than happy to work that Friday.

Oh, yes.  Thanksgiving was always a day to clean up cubicles in my office, because so many people took vacation that day.  I didn't mind working in the peace and quiet.

Tomorrow starts the 3rd week of my diet, so I got on the scale this morning to see what my progress is.  I've lost 10lbs in two weeks.

congrats to you chuckie!  Ive been tryin to lose  weight for 3 weeks and so far doesnt seem to be working.  Ask Fi i barely eat.   I dont kno why im haveing such problems.   But good for you sweetie.
