Just got back from taking my mom to see "Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus".
It was not the type of movie either of us generally goes to see, but we both enjoyed it.
Heath was fantastic, as usual. Terry Gilliam did a great job as well with the direction. I did find it amusing that when the characters were in the "real world", they were always confined to small spaces, but once they walked through a mirror, it was a never ending world.
Special effects were fantastic, and I would go to see it again.
We saw it in a small theater in the town of Montclair, NJ.....a rather liberal town, and the theater plays movies that may not be played elsewhere. I figured it had been out for a while now, and we may be the only people in the place, but we had over 20 people there, including us.
