SPOILERS

Well, I guess it's no surprise that Marie and Claude have quit. They really didn't seem right for the job either. But, boy, will the bar and it's employees ever stop being such a worry for Ellery? I can understand Colson saying that he should just close for the night, but Ellery's right, it doesn't work that way. I liked the statement about 'my own kind'  :)

And frankly, I'm a bit surprised that Ellery is in a relatively good mood after the disastrous handcuff session! Remember last time Colson left Ellery tied on the bed? Maybe he's just getting used to it! LOL

And I wonder what Wes's reaction will be when he sees the mark on Ellery's arm. He will notice it of course  ::) Or are we in for another Vaseline-moment for Edna??  :o

Thanks for the update Louise!  :)

That's stupid Mary who quit.  Trust me, if I had the chance to be around Ellery and Colson, neither Wayne's mouth nor 20 stinkin' stitches would keep me away!

Or are we in for another Vaseline-moment for Edna??  :o

  Too funny, Fabienne!  But, oddly enough, I think Wes might be more uncomfortable with a "Vaseline" moment than Edna was!  LOL!

“Then he’ll make me stay home Monday an meditate with that fuckin tape.”

Yeah, I can see that tape's working wonders already, Ellery.

And Jeeves has another new man?  Do tell! Poor Lance - I'm glad he and Jeeves are friends; can't have too many of those.  I wonder how he'll feel to be back at the bar?

Ellery in a sweater - yum!  Can't wait for more!

Thanks,
Marie

well how do you like that?  I deleted my stories from the entire BBM community and all of my links from Davecullen.com - and PEOPLE ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT!

go figure.  Now that is persistence if ever I have seen it.

For anyone who lurks over here from DC and wants to read the NEW version of my books, you can find them publically available at:

same old same old Louise. Another rehashing of the evils of writing a MO!Ennis fic! Sacrilege!! Every time someone attempts to write one it gets attacked. But, it's because of those "discussions" over on DC I heard about Laramie & took the time to track you down so I could read it for myself, so I'm glad you keep popping up over there. I had to laugh at the choice of scene discussed there though-still sounded hot to me!! I hope there are some new readers that give you a try because of that.

And you are still rocking & rolling as The Rookie proves!!!!
You're the love of my life
And the breath in my prayers
Take my hand, lead me there

I can't forget the taste of your mouth
From your lips the heavens pour out
I can't forget when we are one
With you alone I am free

you want to know what is ironic about that particular scene in that particular story?

It took place about halfway through the fifth volume.  Which seems to imply that the person had read a WHOLE LOT OF THE STORY before being turned off by that scene.  And I find that somewhat amusing.  If the reader didn't like the premise of Ennis finding a new lover then why are they still reading half a million words later?  I would have dropped it on page 50 or something.
