I also have an old Langenscheidt from my school days! I didn't know they are also used "on the other side".
That's so cool .

I guess I must have gotten mine for my last year in high school, when I took "Beginning German." I didn't know they had Langenscheidt's "on the other side" either. 

The song goes on with details of what he, the wife and the maidservants are doing in spring.

lol   It's more a "kiddie" thing than a Jersey thing.  People have their kids say that, instead of "fart", because I guess they think it sounds nicer.

I remember almost falling over with laughter when my friends' little girl once said that she made a "coolie pop".

Still friggin cold here . Temps are clearly under the freezing point at night, and around it during the days. And it's supposed to stay like this at least for another week! *arrrgh*

I'm so sorry!

It's supposed to be 60 F here tomorrow. But we are also supposed to have thunderstorms. So, that isn't very good either is it?

Well, we are going to have a spring storm this weekend, but this afternoon in Philadelphia, the sun is warm and the sky is a deep boneless blue.

Not much snow left, but still mostly below zero.....
