Congrats David. I was worried about maybe surpassing Chris's post number, but I see there's no fear of that. I hope he'll be back online long before I reach 1700!

New England signing in is right. It is supposed to be another hot one here today and tomorrow is worse. Oh well, it is summer after all...

Morning L!

Yup, it's 81*F  here already with a 72% humidity.  Yuck.

My A/C units have been cycling on and off all morning already.

Hmm,  same temp as Childress, Texas I see!   LOL.

Greetings to y'all from the cool Rocky Mountains! Hey David and Leslie, is it time to fire up your respective cool cars and head west?? It's been so cool here that my heater has come on in the night the past few days!! (Just couldn't resist!) I don't even OWN an air conditioner. Denver's hot, but I'm at 7300 ft elevation on the Front Range (thus my name) near Buffalo Bill's grave on Lookout Mountain. Y'all are invited!!

Damn!   you aren't far from Wyoming are ya??   Lucky Girl!

I keep thinking I'd like to live out there if I could think of what to do to make a living.

The isolation wouldnt bother me.   I live in a fairly large city now and seldom see people.
Then again, here I have the option of seeing people.   Like this Sunday, hopping a train to Manhattan to meet some Brokies for Brunch.

I can so see myself out there in love with the scenery.  But pining away for my own Jack Twist to come "ranch up" with me.   :-\

Well, I'm in the state next to Wyoming, but states are a little different out here than they are in New England. . . Course we all make a living by roping steers or roughnecking. I rope steers in the summer, roughneck in the winter... Yup, it's isolated. You have to travel all the way downtown (about 12 miles) to see a Broadway show or a concert!! There are only about four Starbucks per block!! Terrible isolation! A guy could go mad!! You only see a PT Cruiser about once every 30 seconds!!!!!!!!!

:-\  no offense was intended by the implication that you lived in a rural isolated environment.   Just the opposite.

This morning I recieved news and pictures from a buddy who just bought a house and land in Elizabeth, Colorado.   Just South East of Denver.    It sure looked pastural and rural to me.   And very appealing.   Except for the Starbucks.   I don't care much for their coffees.
