As it turns out, the cost of placing the notice was very low, only $124.10 US.  I've asked Peachy what she thinks of running it again in the Friday paper.  What do you all think?

Fine by me. Did we also send flowers? (May be already addressed and I missed it.)

Peachy is waiting to find out where and when to send the flowers, but she is on top of that.  We have lots of money left, so we can send a really nice arrangement.  8)

I think the next job for Peachy and others here is to find out whether the Ledgers have designated any charities that we can donate to in memory of Heath, because we will definitely have funds left for that.  8)

Update:  31 PayPal donations totaling $1,023.13, with six checks being sent via mail.

I'm surprised it cost so little myself!  How about Saturday's West, Meryl?  Just a suggestion.  That's the bumper edition most people read, with liftouts.  I noticed his immediate family ran theirs twice, with copies on Saturday.

Oh, then that sounds like it would be a good idea, Peachy.  I think we should go ahead with that.  We certainly have enough money.  8)

I heard on an entertainment show that the funeral would be Thursday or Friday.  Any more information on your end?  Also, do you know if the family has designated any charities?  We will have funds left to make a donation, I'm sure.  :)

I think this all sounds great!  Flowers, a second ad, and donations to charities.  Brilliant.

I'll email a request for a second ad then. :)

Reports vary on the funeral but one I noticed online said the details wouldn't be made public at all.  That will make the flowers issue difficult.  The West said even Heath's uncle didn't know about the funeral yet.  I really hope we'll have somewhere to send them.
