Uma Thurman and Rain Phoenix... maybe not such a good film... but it's about cowgirls afterall... and this is a hot pic.

Good call ednbarby!

OK, let's talk about some real girl on girl action

- Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon in Bound

-Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Mitchell in Gia

-Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon in The Hunger

and

I quite like the suggestion of Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis in Thelma & Louise- yes it's platonic, but they do kiss at the end  :D :'(

Finally, I saw Gia today. It made me sad, but what a great performance by Angelina Jolie! I'm haunted by her line, "God has great plans for me...just not in this life."

Thanks for reviving this fun old thread!  :D

I'd completely forgotten about it.  Gia is certainly a sad story.  But, I recall having the same reaction that you had Lee.  Very strong performances in that movie.

It's been years now since I've seen it.  I saw it on DVD with a girlfriend back in grad school.  But, I bought a copy from Amazon maybe a year ago.  But, I still haven't watched it again since the DVD arrived.  Your post is inspiring me to dig it out of the DVD drawer one of these days soon.
