More importantly, where was Ang's attention regarding Bobby's accent? I remember someone posting (I think it might have been Flashframe)....how do you mate a cowboy from Wyoming with a barrel riding gal from Texas and end up with a kid who sounds like he is from Scranton, Pennsylvania? I still laugh and laugh at that line...

As I've expounded before, my erudite theory on this casting is that since Jake played Billy Crystal's son in "City Slickers," they cast a kid that looked and sounded like he could be Billy Crystal's grandson as Bobby.  Only an elite group made up of cinephiles, subtle Asian directors and Brokaholics has grasped this.
