Breakfast came about 1 pm and was SmartStart cereal with plain Silk soymilk.  I just had some buffalo tenders (mango habernero sauce) and potato wedges at Buffalo Wild Wings, which is my nearest internet.  The Ole Miss v Alabama game is on and this place is a mob scene.

I am going home soon, find a comfy movie.

I have heard the term Buffalo Wings used a few times on here.....

What are they?

I keep thinking they are chicken wings?

You're right, friend. Buffalo wings are chicken wings with a spicy "buffalo" sauce. Don't know how the term buffalo got associated with a spicy sauce. But it brings to mind flying buffalos, which is quite a sight!!

Hi Lee! I think we call them "Buffalo Wings" because they originated in Buffalo, New York. If I'm not mistaken, a bar or pub in Buffalo started serving them and they became a sensation. Or is that an urban legend?

Well, for supper tonight, it'll be herbed potatoes and salmon steaks on the grill... Caesar salad on the side.

I can't seem to have enough ice-cream lately:  cookies and cream with chunks of chocolate almond bark added in.
I'll have a bit of that for dessert.

Breakfast today:  Vanilla yogurt with a generous handful of raw nut trail mix.

I overslept so breakfast was a large latte with an extra espresso shot.  (Can you believe there's a mini-Starbucks in the cafeteria on the first floor of my building?!).  Lunch was a frozen Amy's Tamale Pie and a cup of mixed berry yogurt.
