Breakfast was an English muffin with butter, with a slice of ham and an egg inside. Lunch was home made turkey noodle soup and an apple. I think I'll skip dinner and see Wendy and Lucy instead. So, I'm following Herr's advice!

Supper, Sirloin strip (raised and slaughtered by us) with boiled red potatoes and corn, homemade biscuits

That must have been very satisfying to eat home-raised steak!!

I had green beans, rice, and tilapia in a spicy sauce. The Sunday chicken has been put in its clay pot and is in the oven already!

Remember to eat breakfast like an emperor. Eat lunch like a grand duke. And, eat supper like a peasant.

That sounds like good advice...

Yesterday I had a *very* indulgent breakfast of sausage gravy over toast topped with cheddar cheese, some Thai chicken curry for lunch, and I skipped dinner...

How can it be Sunday already?!  I don't know where the weekends go.   ??? 8)

That breakfast sounds great to me, Lynne, although the cheese is starting to go toward gilding the lily a bit. I'm thinking of whipping up the same breakfast for myself!

Isn't that the truth! Weekend clocks run twice as fast as the weekday ones, I swear!

Gilding the lily!  It was absolutely glutenous!

Actually, all that was missing was a side of pancakes with some real maple syrup...now that's gilding, IMO...

ummmm whats monkey bread?

Breakfast    Coffee

Lunch        Mango and passionfruit sorbet icecream

Dinner       stiry fry beef with soy and oregano, instant noodles (4 packs). While I admit it wasn't that nutritious
it only took 5 mins to make and my daughter liked it (phew)

Supper      Asian party: fried rice, pasta, pork noodles, chicken, chorizo dessert: 3 chocoloate cakes, cheese cake

Well, I made Amish friendship bread last night. Can't tell you if it tastes like chicken, because I haven't tried it yet. But it's called friendship bread because each time you make it, four cups of "starter" are produced that you share with others. I'm looking forward to sharing my starter with coworkers and Brokie friends here in Denver.

Matt, what is chorizo dessert? I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to food, but this idea blows my mind!
