I normally do not eat donuts, unless someone brings some into work for everyone for breakfast.

However, today when I went grocery shopping, the supermarket was selling these, this is the first time I've seen them.

They look like Boston Cream donuts, but they were labeled "Donnoli Donuts".  Instead of the traditional stuffing of cream or jelly,  they are stuffed with cannoli stuffing & chocolate chips.

very tasty!

Here in NNJ we call pork roll "Taylor Ham" so in reality, I ate pork roll.

Ahhh.

Breakfast was my usual Thursday breakfast of one fried egg and a serving of turkey sausage.

On my way out of the subway before 9:00 this morning, I saw somebody with a pizza box. I don't know that I'd really care for a typical pizza at 9:00 in the morning, but suddenly I was craving a pizza made with scrambled eggs, sausage, and perhaps cheese. I mean, why not?

Then I got to the office and discovered that someone brought in a huge box of soft pretzels.  ;D

I think Taylor Pork Roll was a sponsor of one of the kid shows on a Philadelphia TV station that I watched as a small child, probably Sally Starr's "Popeye Theater."

Nice dinner. A grilled pork chop, a baked potato, peas, a slice of whole-wheat bread and butter, and ice cream for dessert.  :)

Lovely spring day, but became a little cool.

We had grilled littleneck clams with garlic/parsley/lemon butter to start. Vesper for cocktail (gin, vodka, Lillet, twist).

Then, seared rare yellowfin tuna, with ginger/garlic/soy/sesame/scallion sauce; grilled asparagus. With a cheeky fumé blanc.

Strawberries and mascarpone for dessert.

With a cheeky fumé blanc.

Can you recommend a cheap red to drink while one watches Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
