Hope it turned out tasty!

I was at a BBQ today for lunch, typical BBQ fare,  hamburgers, hot dogs, bbq chicken, baked beans, pasta salad, blueberry pie, cheesecake, it was all good!

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''

Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Almost none of that is typical BBQ fare in Australia/NZ, perhaps chicken and pasta salad, some might include a hamburger.
"A typical Aussie barbecue is with sausages, steak, fresh seafood, bread and tomato or barbecue sauce, they sometimes include salad but it's mainly about the meat and fish (and of course a few stubbies – that's beer to the non-Australians)"

I've never been much of a breakfast cereal eater, but I guess now I'll be eating more of it. Shredded wheat has no sodium.

So far I have not eliminated much sodium from my diet, but I wonder if I have already eliminated enough to notice how salty some foods are? The soup I had for supper last night seemed a lot saltier than I remember.  ???

I'm sure it's possible.  I know when I weaned off of regular soda for diet, I noticed right away that regular soda suddenly tasted very sweet.

I've now managed to wean myself from diet soda to seltzer water.

The only type of water I drink. I am not paying for something which is free. Subway give me a bottle of water each year for my birthday (also a biscuit/cookie which I do not really like but have eaten). I have 3 bottles in the refrigerator(in case of emergency) and did not collect the offer this year.

Tap water is what I mostly drink too.

But it depends on the water quality where you live.

In some places the tap water tastes awful.

I have read that New York City supposedly has very good tasting water. That surprises me. I suppose it has something to do with the city's water coming from the Catskill Mountains, but it still surprises me.
