Supper tonight? Meatloaf!

And what's more, they said on the Today show this morning that today is National Meatloaf Appreciation Day--or some such similar title!   I didn't know that last weekend when I tried to plan a week's worth of menus for this week. Regardless, for tonight I'm planning meatloaf and mashed potatoes with corn.  :D

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Breakfast was a toasted whole-wheat bagel slathered with peanut butter.  ;D

Supper was a grilled chicken breast, noodles and gravy, a salad, a slice of bread, and four ginger snaps for dessert. I had a glass of water to drink.

I may skip dinner tonight.  I had lunch at about 1:00, and I'm not hungry yet.

Well, today was the local annual Yule Revel, so dinner--the feast--was interesting and different and actually quite good. First there was a leek and mushroom soup, with bread and your choice of butter or Brie (cheese) to spread on the bread. Then came stewed beef, served with "buttered worts" (carrots and parsnips), and boiled barley. There was also a sort-of quiche made with beets. I didn't stay for the dessert course, because I anticipated I might have trouble getting a cab home (I didn't have a problem, actually), but I noticed that the dessert menu included gingerbread.

Supper today: Fried ham, two fried eggs, and toast.

A far cry from my dinner yesterday!

Sounds delicious!
