Yes, it came between chapter 7 and 8. It was the postcards and letters between Ennis, Alma, Junior and Jenny. No sex in that interlude.

Oh, that's right. I read that! Sorry I forgot!  ::)

A Love Born From Steel

This final epilogue wraps up some loose ends, fills in missing bits of information, and even let's us experience some AU in our AU.

You really can write Jack and Ennis at their email address: [email protected] and they promise to reply, if the number of messages they get is not too overwhelming.

People have asked me, what's next? I am seriously considering a sequel which starts at or near the time of the event mentioned in the closing paragraphs. Thanks, everyone, for your support and I will keep you posted.

Leslie, that was really really lovely.  Can I just say a big thank you to you.  I,m sure I speak for most of us here on Bettermost when I say this.  You have, through your stories and your brilliant writing, given us the happy ending, that, lets face it, we all secretly wished Jack and Ennis would get in Brokeback Mountain.  Now, thanks to you, they have. You are a first class writer Leslie. Thank you, for your time and brilliance. I,ll say it again, your a national treasure here at Bettermost, we are lucky to have you.  Thanks. :) :) :) :)
Always and forever. J&E.xx

Ha ha ha!    I meant when travelling!   Like in Maine or at Jennys Wedding in Massachusetts.    In Texas, men wear their hats everywhere.   Just like in the scene at the charity dance in the movie.

Well, not in the church or the at the reception, because they were inside but otherwise...yeah, they're still hat-toting cowboys  ;)
