That is happy news! It's going to take time, but how does that saying go about the longest journey beginning with one step?

I'm particularly happy to hear this since beginning Friday I'm going to be away and out of computer contact for ten days. Chris, his mother, Shea, and the little buckaroo remain in my prayers every morning.

Yay!!!!!! This is so great to read. I was thinking about the balance issue this morning, remembering that the functions of balance and orientation in space are largely governed by apparati in the ear area which have no doubt been affected by the meningitis. But I'm so happy that he is feeling in high spirits considering everything. Thank you Victoria!

Oh, this IS exciting! 

Chris, ever since December when I first saw 'Brokeback Mountain', our boys have been in my thoughts first thing in the morning, last thing at night (and pretty much all the time inbetween  )   But now, you are right there with them in my thoughts-- I wake up wondering how you are, wishing I could help in some way, and looking forward to seeing your next typed word!  I don't want to miss that!  You sure do have a big, loyal, bunch of friends here who can't wait to 'see' you again.  I miss having you greet me in the chat room!

I miss you so much my friend.  I cannot begin to make people understand how much.  Most folks think I'm nuts because this is an internet friendship, it isn't real, he has the same relationship with hundreds of other people they tell me, Yes I say but I only share what I have with him and Mandy alone.  You are my friend Chris unique to my relationship with any other person on this planet and it doesn't matter if anyone else understands it, it is a small thing but it is very real and very heartfelt.  Get Well Soon..your friends here miss you so much.
