The Group Hug Thread
« on: April 05, 2006, 11:12:33 am »
I think that after the past few days -- heck, after the past few weeks -- we're long overdue for sort of a group hug and lots-of-love thread.  One where we can let by-gones be by-gones and just realize that we are a very close group and that no matter what happens, nothing can change that.

I know a lot of us have been very stressed out... especially me... and I wanted to apologize for that if I've caused any sort of problems.  I do love you all and you're all a very special group of people to me... with that said...

I think that was all a long overdue and hopefully we can move forward and out of the mucky past few weeks that we've had.  I really hope to see Clarissa in here because whenever there is some sort of tiff, we always seem to find ourselves on the opposite sides of the fence.  And it's never much fun because I really like Clarissa a lot.

I can't believe we've been here almost a week and we haven't had one of these threads yet!  Hehe...
And I'll finish this off with a very special Brokeback group hug, courtesy of Ray (I'm pretty sure it was Ray):

Nice!  And it was definitely Ray!

Can you feel how much love there is on this board! ;D LOL I am turning into Darius(never mind if you don't know who that is, but I know most of the people from the UK know what I mean)

To quote the Teletubies....."BIG HUG!" I love you all :-*

LOL we have all gone mushy and support-group-like!

You're talking about Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish, aren't you?
Just joking, that's the only Darius I can think of.
...then you ask me about Mexico and tell me you'll kill me for needing somethin' I don't hardly never get.

No it was this guy from a TV show called "Pop stars the Rivals" and he was such a prick. He also famously said "Can you feel how much love there is in this room?"
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese city people! ;D

Anyway if you live in the US(which I am guessing you do) then I wouldn't expect you to know who he is, but I am guessing that Kelda and other people from the UK on here know who I am talking about!

A hug delights and warms and charms,
It must be why we were given arms.
....
And chances are your favorite aunts
Love them more than potted plants.

These are my favorite lines--Thanks Stacey!!

THANK GOD someone started this long overdue thread! Thank god it was YOU, Studly!!! YAY, we're back to who we are, even better than before.

I love you all and I'm so thankful to've found you!

*puts hand to heart a la Jake at the Aero listening to Surf* (wherever he may be, here's a hug for him too. --Surf, not Jake. Well, Okay, Jake can be in the group hug too. LOL)

Hey now!

I've heard about those cowboy hugs.   Oh sure, nice and innocent, then the next thing you know things get turned around and someones spitting in their hand!    LOL.
