I have friends who've driven 65 to 150 miles one say to get a shot. A colleague at work sent me a 10-step list of how to arrange it, starting with following a particular Twitter account, and when it says do X, go somewhere else and do Y, which then lets you do Z ... I skipped those steps and just called my clinic 24 times.
Now there's a short line of people waiting to get theirs at my neighborhood drugstore. A brewery in town is offering a free beer to anyone who goes there and gets a shot.
About 50% of people in the state have had both shots. Nationwide, it's 32%. As you probably know, about 80% is considered herd immunity.
