I didn't know the football ones off the top of my head, but I saw a couple of words that sounded footballish so I googled football positions.

Once again, my experiment with honoring previous clues rather than ignoring them and using a whole different word to include more new letters paid off. A month ago I would have automatically put DANCE in the second guess. Of course, that would have included two yellows so maybe I'd have gotten 3/6.
