What I should have done on New Years Eve: I (and hubby) should have remembered that it was our 25th anniversary! :o
It occurred to me only today. ::)

 :o

Well, at least since you both forgot, that should make for peace in the house.  ;D

Happy (slightly belated) Anniversary!  :D

Oh wow! Thats a milestone! So you met at a teenage party?

No, we met at school. We had known each other before for 1.5 years and were friends. But that New Year's Eve night 25 years ago, yes, there was a party and that's were suddenly we saw each other in a different light. Still teenagers, kids almost.

LOL Chrissi!!

Probably a good thing that both of you forgot.  ::)

If one of you remembered and the other one not, the result might have been....um.....less pleasant...   ::) ;D

Nah, wouldn't have been a problem. We're both not shy, we would have told the other. And what's important is not the milestones (though I admit 25 is a big one and I'm proud), but more important is how you fill the years between anniversaries and milestones.
I wouldn't even be angry if he forgot my birthday or whatever. This evening, I was tired and hungry as hell, but didn't like what we had for dinner. I was bitchy and fretful. Instead of arguing, he asked me what I would like more and made veggie burgers especially for me. That's love. :)
And of course, after I had eaten, I apologized. He smiled and told me he knows that I become a hyena when I'm hungry. Who needs flowers when you have a man that cooks for you?
