Hello Bettermost friends!




Don't need to use a 'hide-away' desk today, I'm actually feeling pretty rested.  I went to bed my usual time, slept straight through, and then reset the alarm for an extra half hour's sleep.  LOL

Hope everyone is doing well!  What's new and exciting for everyone?

We're almost at the end of the first week of November, bringing me closer to the day I become a great uncle.  ;D

I'm the same chuck as the policies are much stricter.. now If I want to surf I tend to try and do most of it on my phone when at work!

Hello Bettermost friends!




I love the fall colors, and there is a row of trees at the edge of our building's parking lot that are a fantastic shade of red. 

Anyone have good plans for the weekend?  I have some stuff to do, and on Sunday I'm going to the brother and sister-in-law's place for a football game and "birthday" celebration for dad.  It's not his birthday until January.   Dad was a Marine, and November 10th is the foundation day for the Marine Corps, so we have a small birthday party for him to commemerate that date.  LOL

The only time I look at the internet and forums now at work is generally early in the morning when no one else is around.  Other than that, I avoid them, unless I'm the only one in the office, then I peek in.

That's the new flag I picked up today, and it's now in the window of my apartment, I got it while shopping for Christmas stuff for the windows.

Been a quiet weekend so far......Didn't do much last night, today was just shopping.  Tomorrow I'll be with the family for a bit, and Monday is a day off, I'll do the laundry that day.

No, I'm not longing for summer days.   :laugh:

I posted this pic because last night on Logo they ran a documentary show called "What?!" and it showcases a different weird thing each week.

Last night's episode was about people who fall in love with objects.  It had a woman who "married" a ferris wheel, one who was in love with the Eiffel Tower, one with the Statue of Liberty, and a man who was having an intimate relationship with his car.

stories like this make me feel more normal.  :laugh:

weekend was good, went shopping, saw the family, did laundry, and picked up a small artificial christmas tree for the apartment.  ;D
