I made a paste of baking soda and applied it, and it helped to take some of the fire out. So, now that I think about it, I'm feeling a little better today.

Thanks sweetie! And you know what? I think your kisses worked. It's feeling better now. It's still a bit puffy, but it's going down now. And it doesn't hurt anymore.

Yes, that wasp was a damn devil! When he bit me on the neck I tried to swat him off, and I think he tried to sting my hand too. Fortunately he didn't do it. Three stings was enough!

But it sure is tempting, isn't it? I already have a ghost in my basement. I think that is probably ENOUGH!

I think so too David .... in fact I'm sure you have two ghosts in your basement ... can you imagine 98 more of those lurking around your house? 

Cory called me yesterday and he told me he heard a shriek down in the basement. He said it sounded a bit like a female cat in heat, but the pitch was a little lower than a cat's voice. He grabbed his blankets and went upstairs- all the way upstairs to the second floor- and climbed into my bed. I don't know where he slept last night when he got off of work. I'll be going back over there in a little while (I often spend the weekdays with my dad) and I'll check it out.

I sure will Kelda. In fact Jan and I are getting ready to go down there in a few minutes to check it out. We have our flashlights charged and ready to go. I sure do hope it's some kind of animal, but based on what Cory told me I have my doubts. Jan said he doesn't think it's a ghost but he'll protect me all the same. lol Isn't that cute? 

We're going in!! Or down. Or whatever. Wish us luck!
