I'm sure Jeremy will win over the Sampsons affection once they get to know him.   He is handsome, masculine and polite.  And more importantly, they'll see how happy their son Nicholas is with him.

I hope you are right David. Still, it must be very hard for Nick to see that his mother is in such a state that she has to be put on medication. That must hurt... :(

I hope the rest of the dinner goes well and Nick's mother can begin to see why her son loves Jeremy.

Something I've been meaning to mention, Louise . . .

I love your continuing references to the broken blind in Jeremy's room letting in shafts of moonlight and sunlight.  Little details like that mean so much.  Now I always picture Jeremy and Nick falling asleep and waking in each other's arms . . . with that light shining on them . . .  a benediction of sorts.  Their souls really are coming together.

Thank you for this beautiful image!

heheheh Marie, either that or it could mean Jeremy is too lazy to fix it!!

I have unlocked the first four chapters for the public, but today I will not have an update to post, because I am too beat from completing my move and have to get the rest of my computers out of the car so no one will STEAL them!

I am hoping to find a WIFI connection and if so I will be back later and all of this will be a lie... but I am not holding out hope.

I will be back online tomorrow (New Year's Day) at 11 a.m. to noon - at least that is the plan, unless I sleep in and don't get up!

I have Chinese chicken and onions, egg rolls, and all of my stuff in Kaiserslautern now and my move is officially OVER!

So I will have a bit more time for the next two to three weeks.  Go me!  Look for an update some time tomorrow afternoon Eastern time - maybe two if I am really ambitious!

Now, dreaded unpacking, YUCK.

(I am still not fully unpacked from my move in June 2005!)

oh no.  no no no - no unpacky.

I am in transit right now - to Switzerland.  And even there, my unpacking is going to consist of strategic culling of belongings to consolidate them.  I can't believe in 16 months I accumulated so much more STUFF!

I need to pare things down.

I have great news for you guys too, admit the firecrackers of New Year's celebration here in K-Town - there IS a WLAN connection, though very intermittent, in my apartment.  And this means, I may be able to make an update for New Years!  So keep your fingers crossed !

this connection is flaky but holding!  I may be able to get this fic done - stay tuned for some more brisk updating in the next day or two as I recover from my move from Saarland to Rheinland!
