have them back? where did they go?  I guess after a multi-daily E & E dosage any pause of a few days for Licky Nicky and Do-me Dupree is going to be a withdrawal.  EGAD!

Well I also had my RL imposed absense during the Christmas/New Year period. So it feels like I've been missing some Laramie action for a long time.

Louise, you know the only cure for withdrawal is more penatration!    LOL

David!  :o Naughty

yes you are right. He is naughty.

I need a bit of a rest after my Moving and Waffles (see my posts in Our Daily Thoughts, Louise on Tour section) , and will be writing a bit later.

Louise, I hope you haven't forgotten Jeeves.  It is fun looking in on the antics of the younger crowd,  the twenties something, the forties something.  But life doesn't end at 50.  I hope Lamont is in his late fifties, pushing sixty, and he shows the younger ones what sex is all about!

Maybe Led Zep covered this (anyone?) but I have to say, I have listened to as much Led Zeppelin as Who in my time and it is not ringing any bells in my brain. Anyone?

L

Hey Leslie,

I'm not nearly as up on all this as you - I just remembered the legbone bit and googled it and up popped lyrics by Led Zeppelin - maybe their version was a remake. I bow to your greater knowledge!

I'm not up on it either  - but I asked and my husband couldn't remember hearing this song by Led Zeppelin either and a quick check through his CD's didn't show the song anywhere - but . . . he thinks they very well could have performed it in concert and maybe never recorded it?  Anyways, googling does indeed show that it was covered by lots and lots of artists!  Here's the complete (?) lyrics I found - which are indeed very fitting for E&E!   ;D

JOHNNY KIDD & THE PIRATES

SHAKIN' ALL OVER - 04/08/1960
1 week at #1 - 19 weeks on chart

When you move in right up close to me
That's when I get the shakes all over me

Quivers down my backbone
I got the shakes down my knee bone
Yeah the tremors in my thigh bone
Shakin' all over

Just the way that you say goodnight to me
Brings that feelin' on inside of me

Quivers down the backbone
I got the shivers down the thigh bone
Yeah the tremors in my back bone
Shakin' all over

Quivers down my backbone
Yeah the shakes in my knee bone
I got the tremors in my thigh bone
Shakin' all over

Well, you make me shake and I like it, baby
You make me shake and I like it, baby
Well, shake, shake, shake
Shake, shake
Shake, shake, shake
Shake, shake, shake

Thanks for those lyrics, Marie.

My quick search found a version by The Yardbirds. But to me, the definitive version is by The Who, on the Live at Leeds album. Of course, on that one, you can barely understand the words! LOL

the only thing i can think of when you guys post those lyrics is some bluesy tune that has the words "Rockin all over", but I don't remember any "shakin all over"

We've never talked about musical preferences of our favorite men. In the movie, Ennis was putting quarters in the jukebox in the bar, but do we know what songs he actually selected? And the only time music has come up in reference to Ellery was the time he went cruising on the 287 in his new car with the radio turned up full blast. What was he listening to?
