Hi Chrissi, good to see you checking in. Hope you're having a fine holiday. So... Are you going to watch TV on Sunday?
weren't they still in post-production for TDK at the time of Heath's death? I seem to recall concern about some of the final touch-up recordings especially for vocals that under normal circumstances Heath would be called in to re-record.
I remember that. You're correct. They did have post-production to do and under normal circumstances there would have been some looping of vocals.
Did anyone have a look at that Letterman clip? I found him an annoying mixture of insensitive and clueless. I haven't watched his show for years (it's been replaced by Jon Stewrt's Daily show over here) - and I don't think I'm missing much. Though of course nice that he was so positive about Heath's Joker....
Now that the whole film has evidently been shown to select critics and talk show hosts, we're gonna have a steady stream of reviews in the upcoming weeks, I suppose. I look very much forward to reading them, I find it exciting and heartwrenching all at once, and at the same time I'm still so torn and ambivalent about the whole film... and the Joker character too....
