I used a part of my "disposable income" to start working on a small collection. There are 19 pieces all together, and I've used some of my spare cash to collect the first 4. I won't say what I'm getting, but I'll post a pic when it's complete.
Chuck! I'm intrigued.. another superhero collection!?

I wasn't going to say anything, but since you guessed so quickly, yes, it's another superhero collection!
A while ago I managed to get my hands on a set of Wonder Twins action figures. They were made in a limited number, so I was lucky to get them. They are approximately 6 inches tall each.

The image above is not my set, I have them still in the box, however, I've always wanted a complete set of Super Friends figures, and I'm now seeing a lot of them on ebay. A few are in their original packaging, which would be too expensive for me. However, there are loose ones that are being sold, and collectors don't want loose figures, they don't have the value to them. Loose ones I can afford, and I can display them together. I'm hoping I can find another set of Wonder Twins, as I don't want to remove the ones I have from the box. I said 19 items, becaus there is a total of 19 heros on the cartoon that have been made into figures:
Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Atom, Firestorm, Cyborg, Black Vulcan, Samauri, Apache Chief, El Dorado, Zan & Jayna (the Twins), which is 18. The last figure is not made, as she just appeared in three episodes, Rima the Jungle Girl. However, someone on Ebay is selling a homemade Rima that will go off of auction on Monday night. Looks decent and is the right size to fit in with the rest of the figures.
Just an update, I didn't get the Rima action figure, which is fine. I was not going to pay an extreme amount of money for a homemade action figure, and in the end the Rima figure went for over $60.00!

I can't believe people were willing to pay that much.
On the plus side, I found four of the characters for very reasonable prices, and they've all arrived already. By coincidence, they were all the 'ethnic' heroes invented for the cartoon in an effort to make it multicultural. Out of all the heroes, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Atom, Firestorm, were white. The Wonder Twins had a slightly darker complexion, however, they were aliens from the planet Exxor.

The heroes above had some different powers, but unfortunately, writers couldn't come up with (or couldn't be bothered) names that matched the powers, so they were named after their ethnicities. Starting from the left, we have the black super hero who can shoot lighting from his hands, and fly, Black Vulcan. Next is the Japanese hero who could turn into the wind, turn invisible, or turn into fire, Samurai. Next is the Native American who could grow up to 50 feet tall (which is why he's taller than everyone else), he was Apache Chief. Lastly is the Mexican hero who could teleport from place to place by wrapping his cape around him. He could also project holograms from his eyes. He is El Dorado.
