Thanks Sister Mod!  I appreciate the back up!

:)  OK.  :)  Well, I think the more typical or acceptable "implement" looks a lot more like a big, long, and quite narrow syringe.  But, there's no needle or anything.  Just a surprisingly narrow tip.  It's actually sort of frightening looking, but yes, it's designed so that a couple can use it on their own at home and without a doctor's intervention.  You can get it from fertility clinics and sperm banks, etc. (I'll add a dislcaimer here... I've never been in a situation to handle one myself... and I'm not interested in having kids myself - at least at the moment-  but I've heard lots of friends talk about it, etc.)  One of my best lesbian friends is actually about to get married to her girlfriend (in Massachusetts!!) in August and I know she's really interested in having a biological child with her partner, so this topic has come up with her a lot.

Are there any L Word fans in here?  It would be handy if Lucise would pop in here. They show it at least once in a pretty big-deal episode.  I think they dealt with that topic in that show, actually, because the "turkey baster" stereotype is so common.

Yr, welcome, ma'am, anytime!!

We also have a certain Jones person at the ready in our arsenal, and we're getting ready to send him out on a mission to his home state of Indiana and when he's done with David there, we can have him keep traveling East, if you so wish it!!

I'll tell you a secret: this Jones person happens to have three sisters, and so he is more than ready to step in in the name of sisters everywhere to show ignerent people of whatever gender a thing or two. He'll pitch them off their high turkeys before you can say "You Bet!"

I go offline for 21 hours and come back to....never mind.

After the day we had yesterday, I could use an ark. The whole state of Maine could use an ark, actually. Rain, gale force winds, flooding, boats sinking at marina, trees down, power out, and yes, some deaths. It was a very dangerous storm.

This morning, 33 degrees and it is...snowing. Will someone please tell me why Mother Nature is in such a bad mood this month?

Nah!     So far, the month of April here in Connecticut has been colder than January was!

That isn't caused by global warming.   The seasons have all just shifted due to all the nuclear testing done in North Korea.     ::)
