I tried something new today: stuffed pig cheeks.
I had a hankering for something really hearty and old-fashioned. We went to a local wine-festivity and one the menu was just the right thing for me: "Grandma's Sunday Treat: stuffed pig cheeks"
Normally that's not my cup of tea. Alone the name would make me shudder normally.
But today it was just right!
The pic is from the internet, BTW, mine didn't have any mushrooms or green noodles. I had Spätzle (special kind of noodles) and a dark brown sauce with it. Salad as a side, and I was all set. Afterwards, I felt stuffed myself
