I'm with Jess on this one! If the lambs are a gift from Ennis and Jack, then surely we're supposed to guard our sheep and not eat them.

Notice I made bold the words Lone, Star and State....

Lone Star State.

Lone Star State = Texas.

And who lives in Texas?

Yup! Jess won the contest! The object is indeed a MICROSCOPE SLIDE VIEWER. It is in fact a Bausch and Lomb Optical Company microscope slide viewer.

So, Jess gets a lamb from Ennis and Jack!
